Area Agency On Aging-Region One Inc

The Area Agency on Aging, Region One is part of a national network of organizations formed to respond to the needs of older adults. As a private nonprofit corporation, Area Agency on Aging, Region One, advocates, plans, coordinates, develops and delivers services for seniors, individuals who are HIV positive, and adults with disabilities and long-term care needs. The agency, located in Phoenix, is also involved in the development and implementation of area plan. It is responsible for determining the demographic characteristics of elderly population, and identifying and evaluating their needs. In addition, the agency publishes a variety of brochures, guide books and support materials, and operates a resource center and a library for aging related information and materials.
