Wynhoven Health Care Center is a 180-bed skilled nursing facility that serves people with Alzheimer's disease. It provides various home care services, including nursing, home health aide, medical social work, hospice, nutrition counseling, and physical, speech and occupational therapies. It also offers other services, such as hygiene assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders and companionship. Additionally, the center provides health specialist program that include health checkups, blood pressure screening, health counseling, disease management education, nutrition teaching and medication review. Wynhoven Health Care Center is affiliated with the Archdiocese of New Orleans and is located in Marrero, La.
