The Forest Ridge Health & Rehabilitation Center offers long-term skilled nursing care and short-term rehabilitation solutions. It is a 95-plus-bed facility certified by Medicare and Medicaid. Located in Bremerton, Wash., the center provides respite, palliative, hospice and postoperative care, as well as infusion and comprehensive wound care therapies. The Forest Ridge Health & Rehabilitation Center also organizes an array of social and cultural activities, such as arts and crafts, holiday celebrations, bingo and card playing. Its rehabilitation program includes physical and occupational therapies and speech pathology services. The Forest Ridge Health & Rehabilitation Center is owned and operated by Extendicare, one of North America s largest long-term care providers. Founded in 1968, Extendicare operates more than 250 nursing and assisted living facilities.
