Harmony Hospice

Hospice is a comprehensive program of supportive care for persons with a life limiting illness. Hospice uses a team approach that includes health care workers, social workers, volunteers, pastoral services and bereavement counselors. Hospice workers are committed to the dignity and comfort of the patient. Beyond the services provided by medical staff to make and keep a patient comfortable, we include emotional and spiritual support to him or her and also to the patient's family. Hospice is dedicated to both the patient and the family. At Harmony Hospice, we believe that compassion and proper communication are essential ingredients to helping the family and patient cope. Harmony is actively engaged in outreach and education as well as hospice services in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. Proximity is critical to being able to respond in an effective and efficient manner. We are available to the patient and the family 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
