Alzheimers Activity Center

Alzheimer s Activity Center, located in San Jose, Calif., operates under Respite & Reseach for Alzheimer's Disease. It is a nonprofit agency providing care to people affected with Alzheimer s disease and memory impairment. The center offers assistance with activities of daily living, personal hygiene care, health monitoring, support services and education, nutritional monitoring, and lunch and snacks. Its activities also include music and dancing, expressive arts, golf, group interaction, cooking, exercise class and shuffleboard. At the same site is the Rosa Elena Childcare Center, a day care facility that runs an intergenerational program, allowing seniors and children to interact in positive and mutually beneficial activities.
