Center For Hospice Care

Established in 1978, the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care is an independent, community-based, nonprofit organization that provides a range of hospice and home health care services for individuals with life-threatening illnesses. It offers skilled nursing, pain management, medication administration, and physical, occupational and speech therapy services. The organization additionally provides spiritual counseling, bereavement support, skills building, education, training and consulting services for patients and their families. It employs several trained and certified nurses, home health aides, social workers, spiritual care counselors and volunteers. The center is a member of the Indiana Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and National Association for Home Care & Hospice. The Center for Hospice and Palliative Care maintains one of its locations in Elkhart, Ind.
