MediNurse

Operational for more than 25 years, MediNurse is a home care agency. Founded by Carolynn Hoffman, the agency serves more than 2,500 caregivers, local physicians, professional agencies and individuals. Women-owned and operated, it is certified by the Missouri Department of Health Services and Medicare. MediNurse provides specialized services for people suffering form diabetes, kidney diseases, cancer, HIV and AIDS and limited mobility condition. The agency also offers skilled nursing facilities; physical, occupational, language, speech pathology and hydration therapies; home health aides; pain and medication management; social work; medical equipment and supplies; and laboratory services. Additionally, its corporate health services division provides flu shots, cardiopulmonary resuscitation training, drug testing, health checks for blood pressure, cholesterol and blood glucose, and occupational medicine staffing and job-specific health testing services. Formerly known as CompreHealth, MediNurse is based in St. Louis.
