CDPAP program of GSNY Home Care

GSNY Home Care is a Medicaid certified agency that is approved to provide Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) in NY. If you parents, relatives, friends or neighbors receive Medicaid and need help, you can start working for them as Personal Assistant. No PCA/HHA certificate is required. The CDPAP is a statewide Medicaid program that provides an alternative way of receiving home care services, where the consumers have more control over who provides their care and how it is provided. CDPAP allows Medicaid recipients in need of personal care to recruit, hire, train, supervise and terminate their own personal assistants.
