Established in 1979, Babylon Beach House is a family-owned and operated assisted living lodge in Babylon, N.Y. Its services include 24-hour personal care and supervision, bathing, dressing, grooming and incontinence management, daily housekeeping, weekly laundry service, in-house salon and barber, special dietary planning, state-of-the-art fire security systems, emergency call systems on each bed and in each bath, medication management and coordination of medical appointments. It also provides transportation to medical appointments, walkers, canes and wheelchairs, in-house and on call medical services, including primary care physician, podiatrist, ophthalmologist, X-ray, laboratory and psychiatrist, phone and cable television, hospice care coordinated with Good Shepherd Hospice, private and shared accommodations and private baths, respite care, for a weekend, week, month or longer, tray service, weight monitoring and furnishing.
