Royal Oaks
Royal Oaks Retirement Community is a nonprofit continuing care retirement community in Dalton, Ga., that offers residential and assisted living apartments. It offers a variety of one- and two- bedroom floor plans. Each apartment at the community features a private patio, fully equipped kitchen, dryer, emergency call system, sprinkler, and individually controlled heat and air conditioning. The community offers scheduled transportation to shopping malls, churches and movies. Royal Oaks Retirement Community organizes a variety of on-site activities, including exercise classes and bridge tournaments. Annandale Village
Annandale Village, located in Suwanee, Ga., provides a natural environment for adults with developmental disabilities. It is a private, nonprofit community, founded in1969, and offers a comprehensive range of residential and nonresidential programs and services. It is open to adults, aged 18 years and above, and provides ambulatory services, with a primary diagnosis of mental retardation, developmental disabilities and head injuries. The Village includes cottages, suite apartments and studio apartments that provide living arrangements appropriate for men and women of varying ability levels and common areas for shared in-house activities. Residential services professionals at Annandale Village play an important role in supervising, monitoring, guiding and ensuring a consistently supportive atmosphere.
