LifePath Hospice, founded in 1983, is a nonprofit, community-based organization offering palliative and hospice care services. LifePath Hospice is a member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and Florida Hospices and Palliative Care. It offers various programs that include caregiver, and provides family camp, nursing home and assisted living services and outreach care programs. The organization offers a full range hospice patient and family services, such as nurse and nurse aides, medical social worker for patients needing intermittent post-hospitalization care, patient care education and training and various medical equipments. LifePath Hospice is Medicare and Medicaid certified and is licensed by the State of Florida Agency on Health Care Administration. The agency is located in Ruskin, Fla.

Gulfside Regional Hospice, based in New Port Richey, Fla., provides services to patients facing life-limiting illnesses. The institution is certified by the State of Florida to provide medical care services at home and in its hospice house. It has a team of physicians, nurses, medical social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and a bereavement counselor staff, an interdisciplinary team that supports patients and their families. The medical and nursing staff arrange for all medicines, equipment, personal care, counseling and spiritual programs to patients and families. The organization processes all activities with Medicare and Medicaid and private insurance companies and does all the paper work. Additionally, it provides the patient transport from home to hospital or to the hospice house. Its services are available 24 hours, seven days a week.
