Hernando-Pasco Hospice is a nonprofit community-based health care organization that provides skilled medical care to patients with terminal illness and compassionate support to their family members. Estelle’s House offers one- and two-bedroom suites. Its rooms are equipped with plasma televisions with cable, private telephone and live videoconferencing. Estelle’s House offers home-cooked meals and regular visits by a doctor. Its operator, Hospice of Marion County , employs more than 400 professional team members with assistance from over 500 volunteers in several residential facilities throughout the United States.

Established in 1983, Big Bend Hospice provides care for people living with life-threatening illnesses. The organization employs nurses, home health aides, counselors and chaplains. It serves patients in homes and long-term care and assisted living facilities. Big Bend Hospice offers nutritional consulting services. The organization provides physical, occupational and speech therapies. It serves Franklin, Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Taylor and Wakulla counties in Florida. The organization offers personal care services that include bathing, grooming and housekeeping. It provides respite care, companionship and transportation services. The organization offers education to family members about disease processes and expert pain and symptom control. Big Bend Hospice additionally accepts insurance plans from several companies, including Medicare and Medicaid.
