Located in East Stroudsburg, Pa., Visiting Nurse Association/Hospice of Monroe County provides a wide range of services, such as skilled nursing care, home health aides, medical social services and speech, physical and occupational therapies. The Hospice House of Monroe County is an independent trained nursing and residential facility for ill residents. The staffs for the Hospice House is provided by registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, social workers, a chaplain and other medical personnel as part of the standards of medical, emotional and spiritual support services. The association is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
