Who We Are Char-Laine Manor was opened in 1968 by Charles and Elaine Swift. Elaine enjoyed taking care of people and Charlie did the paperwork. When Elaine retired in 1983 her daughter Cheryl and her husband Russell bought the business and operate it today with the same standards and pride that Cheryl’s parents had.
