Comfort Keepers of Bloomfield CT and Manchester CT provides non-medical, in-home care for older adults throughout the Greater Hartford area since 2003, helping to keep seniors safe in the comfort of their home. Comfort Keepers of Bloomfield CT and Manchester CT is an independently and locally owned and operated franchise which is part of a nationwide network established in 1998 and now over 650 offices. Comfort Keepers assists our clients with the activities of daily living including personal care, companionship, homemaking and transportation. Comfort Keepers caregivers are employees, not independent contractors and are bonded, insured, background checked, covered by Workers Compensation and General Liability insurance. Office coordinates employee payroll, with all applicable taxes paid. All of our caregivers are residents of our local community and are verified to be legally eligible to work in the U.S. Comfort Keepers has a hiring process which includes a written application, employment history verification, office orientation, education courses, and new client orientation. Comfort Keepers conducts a complimentary in-home visit and assessment prior to the start of services. Our Nurse/Client Care Coordinator helps to develop a customized written Plan of Care for each client, supervises our caregivers and communicates with clients and families as needed.
