Hospice of Midland
Established in 1981, Hospice of Midland is a nonprofit home health agency providing various health care services to people in need in the Permian Basin Area. In 2017, Hospice of Midland added a new location in Odessa, Texas at 219 W. 4th Street. Hospice of Midland helps patients and families through the next phase of life. They provide personal care services including assistance in personal hygiene, housekeeping and preparation of meals. They offer counseling and support services for patients and their families. Hospice of Midland also teaches various personal coping techniques for anger, frustration and sorrow. Their bereavement and support group programs aid patients who are suffering from serious and chronic illnesses. They provide additional programs such as grief recovery, living again and survivors of suicide. The Rays of Hope Children Grief Centre is a special place to support children who have experienced loss and change in their lives due to death, divorce, separation and other painful transitions. Rays of Hope allows children to connect with people who have experienced similar situations and provide them the tools necessary to work through the healing process. Hospice of Midland also offers volunteer services that provide support and companionship to patients and their families. Hospice of Midland is accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program. Hospice of Lubbock
Hospice of Lubbock is the only faith-based, non-profit hospice on the South Plains, serving 19 counties. We are the region’s only pediatric and adult hospice. Hospice of Lubbock has never denied patient care due to lack of funding or ability to pay.
