The East Arkansas Area Agency on Aging is a private, nonprofit corporation that offers services for seniors. It provides community-based planning, implementation and coordination services. The agency offers case management, independent living, legal assistance and transportation services, as well as various programs and activities. The East Arkansas Area Agency on Aging offers exercise classes, support groups, Parkinson’s disease support and other activities. In addition, it provides respite, personal care, and independent and assisted living services. The agency offers training and lessons on communication skills, control of bodily functions, mental health, personal care skills and record keeping. Area Agency On Aging Of Southeast Ark Inc
The Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Arkansas is a nonprofit organization that provides a range of care and support services for adults and senior citizens. The agency serves Ashley, Bradley, Chicot, Desha, Drew, Grant, Jefferson and Lincoln counties in Arkansas. It offers home health, transportation and care management programs. The agency provides the Alternatives for Adults with Physical Disabilities Medicaid Program, which supports adults with disabilities and provides attendant care and counseling support services. The Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Arkansas ofefrs skilled nursing care, medication administration and affordable housing programs. In addition, the agency receives and investigates complaints regarding various long-term care facilities. It organizes a variety of recreational activities, including table games, music, and arts and crafts.
