Hands Of Mercy Hospice

Have you ever heard, “”””All we can do is call in hospice now””””? It is true that hospice is a Medicare approved option when someone is diagnosed with a terminal illness. However, at Hands of Mercy Hospice, it is our desire to promote living. Our Hospice will provide what a hospice should – medical, physical, spiritual, and psychological support to patients and families when a terminal ilness no longer responds to treatment whose goal is a cure. We will provide comfort, care, and symptom management, and we provise to do so with great energy focusing on making the present day the most it can be for patient and family. Medicare and many health insurance companies have a hospice benefit. If a patient does not have insurance, a financial evaluation and sliding scale will be implemented. Hospice care will never be refused based upon ability to pay.
