The task to say the least can be daunting and this is where Care Connect of Hampton Roads can help!Christina’s compassion and drive to work with seniors and their families grew from her extensive background experience serving as the Director of Sales, Marketing and Admissions for local Alzheimer’s, Assisted Living and Independent Senior Living communities. During this time she also acted as a volunteer support group facilitator for the South Eastern Virginia Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association www.alzheimersassociation.com.As a Certified Senior Advisor ( CSA ), Christina understands that the health, financial and social needs of seniors are different and more complicated than those of any other group and the explosion of growth of the senior population is one of the most important demographic developments of the 21st Century. Care Choice
CareChoice of Boerne is a locally owned and operated 70-plus-bed nursing and rehabilitation center. It focuses on older citizens who need rehabilitation and are unable to live independently because of chronic physical and mental conditions. The center s respiratory, occupational, physical and speech therapies strengthen mobility and daily living skills. CareChoice of Boerne also offers various treatment options for patients with decubitus ulcers, amputations, prosthetic complications and surgical wounds. Its long-term care services are available for people with multiple health care and rehabilitative needs. The center s facilities include more than 70 private and semiprivate rooms. The Care Careers Academy (CCA) has been providing inspiring training opportunities for Certified Caregivers, Certified Home Care Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants for almost 20 years.
