Paths’ Community Dental Clinic
Based in Chatham, Va., PATHS Inc. (Piedmont Access to Health Services) is an organization that provides health care to the residents in south central Virginia. The organization’s programs and services comprise MEDAssist and community HIV/AIDS assistance (CHAAP) program. Its community dental center provides services, such as oral cancer screenings, digital X-rays, periodontal therapy, sealants, and routine and urgent evaluations. PATHS Inc. has various partners, such as Virginia Health Care Foundation, Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce and Virginia Community Healthcare Association.
Pathway Center For Grief
Pathways Center for Grief and Loss is part of Hospice of Lancaster County. It offers grief and loss support services to people of all age groups. Its services include support groups, resources, counseling and camps, and it also offers grief workshops and socialization services. The center offers a wide range of programs and services, including adult support groups, adult grief retreat, young adult grief support, men’s breakfast club and newly bereaved programs, and individual and family consultations. It also offers programs and services for children and teens, including coping kids, camp chimaqua and good grief club programs. Additionally it provides individual sessions for children coping with serious illness and loss. It also offers bereavement resources, such as newsletters, libraries, commemorative opportunities, and courses, workshops and seminars on grief and loss issues.
