Legacy House
Legacy House offers a range of care and support solutions for low-income, multi-Asian senior citizens. The agency features more than 70 assisted living apartments with a variety of amenities and emergency call systems. It serves Asian-style meals and snacks. Legacy House provides health monitoring, medication management, personal care and transportation coordination services. The agency also offers rehabilitative, occupational and physical therapies. It provides a selection of daily fitness, social and recreational group activities. In addition, Legacy House offers 24-hour staffing, respite care, weekly housekeeping and linen services. The agency provides access to mental health care services and citizenship classes. It is administered by the Seattle Chinatown-International District Preservation and Development Authority.

Legacy Hospice Services
Legacy VNA Hospice, located in Portland, Ore., is one of the centers operated by the Legacy Health System. It provides supportive care for adults and children who are terminally ill. The services offered by the center include intermittent visits by nurses and other health care professionals, management of pain and symptom control, medical treatments as prescribed, patient care instruction for family members, personal care, and assistance in obtaining medical equipment, supplies and medications. Legacy VNA Hospice also provides counseling and emotional support for patients and their families, companionship and practical services by lay volunteers and bereavement follow-up for families. The center provides information and guidelines about insurance, financial aid, in-home support, transportation agencies and community agencies. Its staff includes registered nurses, home health aides, therapists, medical social workers, pharmacists, bereavement and dietary counselors and volunteers.
