Heritage, a skilled nursing and rehab facility has been independently and locally owned in Amarillo, Texas since 1978. We are located near all major hospitals and physicians offices. Heritage is a 136 bed skilled nursing facility specializing in physical rehabilitation and long term care. We offer superior healthcare and rehabilitation in a warm, welcoming atmosphere that promotes dignity, autonomy and safety. With an emphasis on rehabilitation, our staff provides innovative treatment approaches to assist residents in returning to a normal and viable lifestyle. Health care professionals include Nursing, Rehabilitation, Registered Dietician, Social Services, Physician Services and Certified Activities Director all under the direction of a Licensed Administrator. A physician directs each resident’s health care and is available 24/7 for consultations. Heritage recognizes that having competent, compassionate and dedicated employees are the key to providing high quality service. We offer transportation to and from medical appointments, Alter G Anti-Gravity Treadmill, private rooms and telephones, large screen television, cable, daily newspapers, electric beds and Wi-Fi internet.
