St. Mary’s Woods Retirement Community
Established in 1988, St. Mary s Woods offers retirement and assisted living care facilities. It is a nondenominational, nonprofit retirement community that is sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Richmond. The facility provides a range of resident services, living options and luxurious amenities. St. Mary s Woods residents receive dementia, nursing and skilled rehabilitative care services. It maintains a beauty salon and houses an on-site rehabilitation therapy center that is staffed by various physical, speech and occupational therapists. The facility also maintains studio and one- and two-bedroom apartments. St. Mary s Woods works in collaboration with the National Center for Assisted Living, National Council on Aging and Assisted Living Federation of America. It is located in Richmond, Va.
