St Anthony Village
St. Anthony Village is an independent and assisted living intergenerational community that includes more than 120 units and apartments. The village features a child care center and community park. Its people believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The village serves people of various age groups and conditions. It offers housing care and financial management services. The village serves the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of people. Its apartments include kitchenettes, bathrooms equipped with handicap railing, and emergency call, heating and air conditioning systems. The village features an on-site beauty salon and offers housekeeping services. Additionally, it provides housing services for people suffering with Alzheimer s disease. St. Anthony Village offers various games and music events, as well as organizes trips for museums and historical places. The village is a part of Services for All Generations Enterprises, also known as SAGE, which operates Assumption Village and World Spark.
St Antoine Residence
A Nursing and Rehabilitative Center: Saint Antoine Residence, established in 1913, is a 260-bed skilled nursing facility located in North Smithfield, RI; it is the largest facility of its kind in the state. Saint Antoine provides long term care, short term rehabilitation, Alzheimer’s/dementia care, and a Hospice Suite for end-of-life care. The Residence employs close to 400 people and engages more than 150 volunteers. It is one of the largest employers in Northern Rhode Island. Saint Antoine has been a leader in eldercare, including the first Alzheimer’s unit in the state, first Hospice Suite, and the first to use “”””primary care”””” in its provision of services. It is a founding member of CareLink and an agency of the Diocese of Providence.
