Summit Adult Day Services
Summit Adult Day Services provides programs designed to improve physical, mental and spiritual health, with the ultimate goal of helping older adults maintain their independence. Your loved one will experience many benefits of the program, while you gain the confidence you need to know that he or she will well cared for while you are away. Summit Adult Day Services was the first program of it’s kind in Summit County. It’s been in operation since 1977 and continues to be a leader. Summit Adult Day Services offers four custom care groups to accomodate all levels of function from alert and highly functional participants to those in advanced stages of dementia such as Alzheimer’s disease.
The Worthington
The Worthington, a part of Holiday Retirement Homes, is an assisted living and retirement community that serves senior citizens. It offers a range of independent living options. The center also provides driving, cooking, dishwashing, cleaning, yard work, maintenance and repair services. The Worthington operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Worthington also offers dining, live-in management, transportation, housekeeping and linen solutions. It has one- and two-bedroom units and organizes weekly outings and trips. The center has a laundry room, library, fitness center and barbershop. The Worthington conducts cultural and social events, educational programs and computer classes.
The Normandy Of Rocky River
Located in Cleveland, Normandy Manor of Rocky River is a full-service nursing facility offering skilled nursing, rehabilitation and health care services. It also offers assisted and independent living and various support services. The center provides 24-hour medical support, dental, podiatry, housekeeping, laundry, hospice and nutritional management services. Additionally, it offers recreational activities, such as music therapy, weekend outings and church services. The center also provides treatment for respiratory and digestive disease, and offers respite, colostomy, postoperative and posthospital care, restorative services and wound and pain management. The center also provides private and semiprivate rooms, patios, dining areas, room temperature and emergency control systems, cable TV, and a beauty salon and barbershop. Its rehabilitative services include speech, language and swallowing therapies, and audiological services. The center is Medicare- and Medicaid-certified, and is owned by The Normandy.
