My name is Charsena Braswell. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I have been providing care as well as facilitating care of developmental disabled and elderly individuals for the past 20 years. I began my career in developmental disability through Sunshine children’s Home as a direct care worker. While at sunshine, I also worked in their respite home and eventually became a supervisor at their base unit. While employed at sunshine I was also a foster parent through Lucas County Children’s Services where I took in a child with disabilities and presently still provide foster parenting to a disabled youth. I also worked as a manager at an agency before eventually becoming the owner of my own agency.
