Sodalis Elder Living communities provide specialized Assisted Living care in Cuero, New Braunfels, San Antonio, San Marcos, Temple, Victoria and Waco, Texas.We honor those we serve by ensuring a life engaged. Engagement provides our residents with a sense of purpose, fulfillment, social interaction and accomplishment. The six dimensions of daily engagement at Sodalis Elder Living are Social, Intellectual, Emotional, Physical, Spiritual, and Dignity. Sodalis Elder Living was one of the earliest care providers in the United States to implement the Person-Centered Care approach, which is designed to enhance dignity and foster independence. This research-based approach is applied to all aspects of care and is highlighted in our engagement programs. It allows us to avoid making assumptions about our residents and helps us to provide the best care for each individual. Giving all residents a sense of purpose guides the care we provide. Sodalis utilizes research-based care practices to help our residents experience the best life possible. The State of Texas mandates assisted living providers to complete 12 hours per year of staff training. At Sodalis, we feel there is so much more that can be learned, so we have doubled our training requirements. Our staff receives 24 hours of training each year.
