Parma Care Center, established in 1967, is a 100-bed health care facility providing physical, medical, emotional and spiritual care for the aged, disabled and chronically ill patients. It offers a wide range of services, such as occupational, physical, speech and respiratory therapies, hospice care and peritoneal dialysis. The center s long-term care services include restorative nursing, social services, incontinence management, psychological services, wound care and personal laundry services. Its activities coordinator encourages residents to participate in various programs, including crafts, birthday celebrations and weekly entertainment programs. The center accepts Medicare, private pay and private insurance for payment. Parma Care Center is owned and operated by Progressive Quality Care and is located in Parma, Ohio.
