Shepherds Ministries

Established in 1964, Shepherds Home and School offers educational services for children, youths and adults with developmental and cognitive disabilities. It provides special education and vocational training programs. Shepherds Home and School is a part of Shepherds Ministries, which offers residential and educational support services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Operational for more than 50 years, the parent organization provides assistance to enhance functional academics, mobility, and social and emotional skills. In addition, it operates over 15,000 square feet of production and warehouse facility that offers manufacturing and outsourcing job opportunities to the residents of southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Shepherds Ministries provides courses in culinary arts and horticulture, including institutional cooking, fast food, sanitation, landscaping and garden operations.

Shepherd’s Care Center

Shepherd’s Care Center, LLC provides residential care services to senior citizens. The center offers a range of services, such as assistance with daily living during bathing, dressing, general hygiene, incontinence care and ambulation. It also offers three restaurant-style meals a day, snacks and therapeutic menus. Located in Greenville, S.C., it features amenities, including private or companion apartments with full bath, handicapped-accessible shower, utilities, room controlled heating and air conditioning. The center also provides various activities, such as exercise programs, Children’s programs and musical entertainment

Shepherd Of The Valley

Shepherd of the Valley Care Center, a nonprofit organization, has been operational for more than 100 years. Supported by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, it is one of the leading nursing and convalescent homes in the United States. Located in Casper, Wyo., the center serves more than 5,000 elderly and disabled persons. It is affiliated with the American Association of Homes and Seniors for the Aging, Leave a Legacy and Alzheimer s Association. Shepherd of the Valley Care Center offers a wide variety of services, such as independent retirement living, residential adult day care, short- and long-term rehabilitation, respite and palliative care, and home health aide. The center also offers skilled nursing facilities, occupational, language, physical, speech, hydration, and respiratory therapies, audiology solutions, treatment for Alzheimer s disease and dementia, and hospice care.
