Who we are: We are an excellent alternative to Nursing Homes. In our home we offer advanced levels of care, Hospice care and end of life care for a more reasonable price. Located on a cull-de-sac for a peaceful and quiet atmosphere outside as well as inside our Adult Family Home, Shalako East Quality Care is a very comfortable, large, one level, smoke free, air conditioned home with no steps. There are two porches where we enjoy watching birds and squirrels play. At Shalako East Quality Care we strive to provide the kind of care for your loved ones that we would want for our loved ones. Personalized care from the heart! As Adult Family Home Providers will do whatever is reasonable to accommodate the Residents increasing care needs to allow them to remain in the AFH for as long as possible. Residents are welcome to live in our home and be cared for throughout the end of life, eliminating the need for additional moves which can have a negative impact on physical and emotional health. They will receive one-on-one care, in a place where they are encouraged to continue living with independence, respect and dignity. We strive to make them feel like they are part of the family, not just renting space in our home, establishing strong bonds with caregivers and other residents. Our goal is to keep the Residents as independent as possible while providing 24-hour a day support, care and supervision in a tender, loving family atmosphere.
