Each apartment is designed for comfortable living and includes a spacious bathroom, a large closet, and optional private telephone line. Our program is designed to provide residents with nurturing, comfortable, and home-like environments while offering supportive services such as medication management and help with dressing and grooming, as needed. Sentara Nursing Windermere
Sentara Rehabilitation Windermere – Providing quality care since 1991, the Center provides a spacious environment with skilled nursing care. The facility features 60 long-term care beds, with 26 private rooms in a 25,895-square-foot building. In 2004, a new wing was built, adding 30 beds, including 16 private rooms, a physical therapy gym, a beauty shop and a whirlpool room. The 16 spacious private rooms in the new wing have more than 300 square feet of living space, giving families plenty of room to visit. Beautiful outdoor gardens, fountains and patio areas enhance the atmosphere.
Sentara PACE
Sentara PACE – Norfolk – a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly is located in Norfolk. The facility serves the Virginia Beach, Chesapeake and Norfolk communities. This program is a comprehensive health care and supportive services program for frail seniors who wish to remain in their homes and community. It is an alternative to nursing facility eligible individuals, but who would prefer to remain at home with services coordinated by Sentara PACE. This facility located in Norfolk provides transportation, meals, medical care and socialization for seniors living with their families, who qualify for nursing facility level of care.
