Samaritan Hospice

Samaritan Hospice is a nonprofit, community-based organization that serves the counties of Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Mercer in New Jersey. Founded in 1980, the organization offers a range of palliative care, grief support, education, advocacy and other life-enhancing services. It is certified by the Joint Commission and is licensed by the state of New Jersey. Samaritan Hospice is also a member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the Home Care Association of New Jersey. It has a more than 6,000-square-foot inpatient hospice center that features a family room, meditation unit and over 10 patient bedrooms. The organization also offers scholarships for people interested in advancing the use of complementary therapies in end-of-life care. Located in Marlton, N.J., Samaritan Hospice additionally offers various support services after curative and palliative treatment.
