Kansas City Free Health Clinic, located in Kansas City, Mo., is part of the health care delivery system in various communities in the city. Founded in 1971, the clinic provides a variety of health care services to people who are not insured. Its health care services include general medicine, HIV prevention and primary care, behavioral health and dentistry. Kansas City Free Health Clinic offers a full-time staff of more than 60, and is supported by over 600 volunteers. It is one of the leading clinics, and the facility is spread on an area of more than 20,000-square-feet. The clinic is funded through various donations, grants, special events, United Way, and contributed goods and services.
