Caring Hands In Home Care was founded in 2009 by Tina Hartlein and Amanda Wicker, two experienced nurses who shared a vision of creating a home care agency that would treat people with respect, dignity, and first-rate care.Since its inception, Caring Hands In Home Care has grown to a staff of over 80 health providers. Our caregivers are experienced, well-educated, and committed to ensuring a high quality-of-life for all of our clients. All of our staff must pass a rigorous background check before joining the Caring Hands team. We first began providing in home care services in New Madrid county from our office in Matthews and have grown to add a satellite office in Scott City and serve seven counties in Southeast Missouri from those two locations.Caring Hands In Home Care provides in home care services including homemaker chores, personal care, nurse visits, respite care, and private duty nursing services to residents in Southeast Missouri. Our experienced caregivers provide a wealth of services and are extremely friendly and compassionate. We not only support patients, but we also support families and friends. We educate families, giving them the tools they need to provide the proper level of care for their loved ones. We are your dedicated partner in care. Supervisory staff are on call 24 hours a day in case of emergencies and care is available around the clock.Our at home care, such as meal preparation, housekeeping, bathing, grooming, medication set-up and diabetic nail care, are all geared toward helping individuals remain in their homes safely. Dolan Memory Care Homes
Dolan Memory Care Homes has been providing care for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease & related dementias for 20 years. Currently 9 households which are licensed by the State & staffed 24/7; managed by a licensed nurse; staff is trained in the care of individuals with dementias. Households are one-story, barrier-free & secure; designed to support & assist residents. Each household also has a secure backyard where residents are free to take pleasure in outdoor activities. Dolan Memory Care is locally owned and operated. Additional households to be opening in 2018.
Midland Empire Resources For Independent Living
Midland Empire Resources for Independent Living, also known as MERIL, is a community-based, nonresidential agency that works to promote independent living and enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. It serves the residents of Andrew, Atchison, Buchanan, Clinton, Holt, Nodaway, DeKalb, Gentry and Worth counties in Missouri. Midland Empire Resources for Independent Living also provides services for deaf and hearing impaired individuals, as well as traumatic brain injury survivors. Its independent living services include self-advocacy training, peer support, community education, and housing and personal assistance. The agency also offers in-home services related to personal care, homemaker chore, respite, authorized nurse visits and counseling. Midland Empire Resources for Independent Living maintains a location in St. Joseph, Mo.
