Carriage Square Health Care Center, located in St. Joseph, Mo., is spread over a wooded and landscaped surrounding. It is a 100-bed skilled nursing facility providing a special care unit with private and semiprivate rooms with modern furnishings, cable television connection, baths and dining area. The center s rooms are equipped with a call light system by the bed and individual temperature controls. It offers personal laundry services. The facility is a licensed skilled nursing facility and also approved and certified by Medicaid and Medicare. The center also has a therapy room where speech, physical and occupational therapies are available. It offers various other services that include nutritious meals daily with table service; assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing and dressing, housekeeping and linen service; medication management; and health promotion and exercise programs. Carriage Square Health Care Center also provides scheduled local transportation and organizes various social, cultural and recreational activities.
