The Minnesota Veterans Home provides transportation, spouse support, family counseling and volunteer services. Established in 1978, it offers a variety of services for people who suffer from chemical dependency, mental health illnesses, dual disorders and homelessness. The Minnesota Veterans Home maintains a wood shop that produces flag and memorabilia cases, plaques, signs and picture frames. It is administered by the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs.
