Hospice of Michigan

The Hospice of Michigan, also known as HOM, is a nonprofit organization that provides a range of specialized health care services for patients with acute chronic illnesses. It offers palliative care and pain control solutions. The organization is one of largest hospice programs in the United States. The Hospice of Michigan serves more than 900 terminally ill individuals on a daily basis in over 50 counties in Michigan. It also maintains a staff of nearly 500 employees. The organization provides services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Hospice of Michigan is governed by the Hospice of Michigan Board of Trustees and the Hospice of Michigan Foundation Trustees. It operates Maggie Allesee Center for Quality of Life.
