THE LAURELS OF MT. PLEASANT A Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center The Laurels of Mt. Pleasant, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center operated by Ciena Healthcare, provides a safe, home-like setting for our guests just one block from Central Michigan Community Hospital. Our facility offers short-term rehabilitation and nursing services, as well as extended-stay care for individuals who have physical or cognitive limitations. The Laurels of Mt. Pleasantâ??s short-term rehabilitation unit provides up to seven-day-a week services that are customized to guestsâ?? individual needs and performed by licensed therapists. Our rehab guests may choose between private rooms, suites or semi-private rooms based on availability.
Kambly Living Center
Established in 1949, Kambly Living Center is a state award winning, 30 bed adult foster care facility serving people with developmental disabilities. Based in Battle Creek, Mich., it offers an array of social and spiritual growth activities, such as exercise, garden/walking clubs, table talk, chef therapeutic riding center and resident council. Additionally, the center provides in-house events, including story time, movie nights, arts, crafts, bingo, wii game time and music programs. Kambly Living Center also assists individuals through planning, coordinating, locating, accessing, monitoring and supports services.
