Homestead Manor
Homestead Manor is an assisted living facility that features a chapel, community center, dining room and lounge. It also features private accommodations with each of its rooms offering a bathroom, patio, fireplace and emergency call system. The facility provides in-home physical, occupational and speech therapies. It also offers 24-hour nursing care, medication management, and mobile X-ray and ultrasound services. Additionally, Homestead Manor conducts recreational day trips, shopping excursions and therapeutic sessions, as well as provides assistance with daily living activities. Located in Denton, Md., Homestead Manor is operated by the Wesleyan Retirement Center, which manages skilled nursing care, independent and assisted living facilities in Maryland.
Pleasant View Nursing Home
Pleasant View, established in 1973, is a family owned and operated assisted living facility for senior citizens. The services offered by the center include housekeeping, laundry, planned meal preparation, personal support, nutrition counseling, and assistance with bathing, walking, dressing and letter writing. The amenities offered by the center include beauty salon, barbershop and cafeteria.
