Rockville Nursing Home, established in 1977, providing care for the elderly on a nonprofit basis. The nursing home has more than 100 residents and it offers physical, occupational and speech therapies as recommended by a resident’s physician. It organizes a range of programs to meet the needs and interests of residents. Support services for both residents and families are provided on an individual basis or through a group program. In addition to regular staff, a group of volunteers provide assistance with programming, friendly visiting, meal service and individual requests. Family participation is largely encouraged by the nursing home. Residents are also offered computer and Internet facilities. The nursing home is located in Rockville, Md.

Walkers, wheel-chairs, and geri-recliner chairs are available for resident use.Residents are accepted by referral of the personal physician and are admitted without regard to race, color, religious belief, political affiliation or opinion, sex or physical handicap.
