Catholic Memorial Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitative Care
Catholic Memorial Home is a full-service rehabilitation and adult care center. Founded by Raymond Considine, Catholic Memorial has been operational for more than 65 years. Located in Fall River, Mass., the center is a part of Diocesan Health Facilities. It is approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and American Academy of Pain Management. Catholic Memorial Home offers a wide variety of services, such as long- and short-term and extended care, physical, speech, occupational and respiratory therapies, and rebuilding skills training. It provides home safety evaluation and discharge planning, and treatments for Alzheimer s disease and related memory impairing illnesses. The center also offers full-time pastoral care, chaplaincy services, therapeutic activities, monthly outings, pain management, palliative care, one-on-one interactions, respite care, and special programs.
Rogerson House
Located in Jamaica Plain, Mass., Rogerson House offers assisted living and day and respite care services for persons with Alzheimer’s disease and a variety of other memory problems. It offer s a variety of assisted living services, including laundry, on-site hairdressers, manicurists, podiatrists, transportation, dietician-supervised meals and housekeeping. The Boston Alzheimer’s Resource Center at the Rogerson House features a specialized collection of books, journals, articles and videotapes. It also offers an annual lecture series and a biennial symposium. The organization is operated by Rogerson Communities that provides housing and health care services for elders and low-income individuals and families.
