Assisted Living Center is a nonprofit assisted living facility that has been operational for more than 10 years. It provides assistance with several basic activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, housekeeping, shopping and transportation. The center offers various on-site specialized services, including visiting nursing care, geriatric psychological counseling, and physical and occupational therapies. Its activities coordinator plans a range of daily activities and other events for special occasions and holidays. In addition, the facility offers a fitness program that includes aerobic exercises and other exercises for shoulders, elbows, hands and fingers. The center provides opportunities for its residents to participate in variety of programs, such as bingo, crafts making, gardening, musical performances and movie outings.
