The organization is also accredited by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) for human services in the areas of rehabilitation, employment, and community and family services. Its programs are based on individual assessments. The organization s assessment plans encompass a person’s history, future visions, dreams, desires, preferences and important individuals in their lives. ResCare, founded in 1974, serves clients throughout the United States and Canada. Its services include residential, therapeutic, job training and educational support to people with developmental and other disabilities. ResCare additionally offers educational and training services for young people under the Job Corps program.
