Thompson-Hood Veterans Center
Thomson-Hood Veterans Center, also known as THVC, is a 280-plus-bed, long-term care facility that provides skilled nursing and rehabilitative services for patients. It is operated by the Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs. The center also operates sister facilities in Hazard and Hanson in Kentucky. Thomson-Hood Veterans Center maintains an activities department. It serves residents, families, friends and veteran organizations. The center has a staff of more than 75 individuals. Thomson-Hood Veterans Center additionally sponsors a teen volunteer program. The Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs, also known as KDVA, offers special programs for women and homeless veterans. Grant Manor Health Care Cent
Grant Manor Health Care Center provides a full range of nursing services including a rehabilitation program, skilled nursing care, pharmaceutical services, and variety of other therapeutic services.
