Methodist Hospice Services is a department operated by Methodist Medical Center of Illinois. The department provides physical, emotional, social and spiritual care for people with terminal illnesses. It offers a variety of services, such as physician services, pain and symptom management, and spiritual and supportive counseling. It also specializes in personal care by trained volunteers. Its staff includes doctors, counselors, nursing assistants, social workers and trained volunteers. In addition, Methodist Hospice Services organizes grief-support camps for children of ages 5 through 18 years.
