Family Home Health Service

Family Home Health Services is a Medicare-certified home health agency. It is licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health and is a member of the National Association of Home Care and the Illinois Home Care Council. The center employs nurses, therapists, social workers and support staff who are trained in providing health care services to the residents. Family Home Health Services provides home care throughout the Greater Chicagoland area, including Boone, Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Lake, McHenry, Will and Winnebago counties in Illinois. It provides physical, speech and occupational therapies and offers nursing, medical social work and translation services. Its language line service program provides over-the-phone interpretation and document translation in more than 140 languages.

Located in Jerseyville, Ill., the Jersey County Health Department is a state-licensed and Medicare-certified home health agency that offers a range of medical services. It has been providing health care services to senior citizens since 1966. The department offers nursing services and conducts physical, speech and occupational therapies. It also provides treatment solutions for several chronic and communicable diseases, including flu, pneumonia and tuberculosis. In addition, the department conducts a variety of health education programs that includes the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program, Tobacco Prevention Education, Illinois Tobacco Quitline, Smoke Free Restaurants in Jersey County, Teens Against Tobacco Use and Dental Sealant Program.
