Avantara Park Ridge
Founded in 1959, St. Matthew Center for Health is located in Park Ridge, Ill. It provides health care services for senior citizens. It is a program of Lutheran Social Services of Illinois that has more than 90 programs throughout the state. The center offers its services to people from all faiths and all walks of life. It provides a variety of amenities, such as courtyards, dining area, computer room, private and semiprivate rooms, a fitness center, a chapel and an aviary. Its short-term rehabilitation provides orthopedic and stroke rehabilitation and skilled nursing care services. The center also offers a variety of long-term care that includes respite and hospice care and various community services. In addition, St. Matthew Center for Health operates a special care unit for the individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and dementia-related disorders.
