Visiting Angels
Since 2002, Visiting Angels has been operating as a full-service senior homecare agency. Located in South Elgin, Ill., it has over 400 offices spread across the United States and Canada. The agency provides a range of non-medical services on an hourly basis. It offers a combination of services in the areas of meal preparation, personal care/hygiene, medication reminders, companionship, light housekeeping and errands/transportation. Visiting Angels is certified by the California Association for Health Services at Home (CAHSAH).
Lydia Health Care Center
Lydia Healthcare is a 410-bed long-term care facility. It offers programs, such as therapeutic recreation, psychosocial, life skills groups, vocational development and transitional services. Its therapeutic recreation program provides on-site multidenominational religious services, multipurpose room, computer lab with Internet access and cable televisions services. Its program also provides activities, such as fitness classes, cooking, arts and crafts, sewing, concerts, movies, plays and bowling. Located in Robbins, Ill., Lydia Healthcare offers services that includes 24-hour nursing care, restorative nursing, meals, laundry, therapies, medication monitoring, personal care assistance and retraining program. Additionally, it offers family support nights to provide an opportunity for family members to meet each other and learn about the facility and community resources.
