Pella Health Center is a private, nonprofit facility that is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Pella Regional Health Center initially opened in 1960 as Pella Community Hospital. In 1996, the hospital merged with Pella Medical Clinic to become Pella Regional Health Center. Satellite family health centers opened in the neighboring communities of Bussey, Monroe, Sully and Knoxville, Iowa.
