Manawa Community Nursing Center, established in 1971, is a more than 50-bed skilled nursing facility located in Manawa, Wis. It provides a wide range of services, including physical, occupational and speech therapies, 24-hour nursing care, outpatient therapies, wound care, day care for the elderly, and hospice services. Manawa Community Nursing Center also offers other services, such as respite care, short- and long-term care, physician and pharmacy services, dietary services, beauty shop, housekeeping and laundry services, and social service and counseling. The center employs certified and caring staff who can help individuals to recover from illness and injury. Established in 1974, Manatawny Manor is a residential facility that offers a range of housing options for senior citizens. It provides assisted living, respite care and rehabilitative services. Manatawny Manor also offers skilled nursing, memory support and adult day care services. It works to meet the recreational, cultural, fitness and socialization needs of residents with memory-related disabilities. The facility s residential units include private and semiprivate accommodations with each of its units offering a private bathroom, kitchen, shower, wall-to-wall carpet window treatment and storage closet. It provides medication management, nutritional counseling and social work consulting services. Located in Pottstown, Pa., Manatawny Manor is a part of Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries, which offers adoption, counseling and community services throughout Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania.
